    Absolutely fascinating to read about and see the history of Woomera. Such an eerie feeling to look through the old photos of a thriving town and then look outside to the present day deserted streets. Heritage Centre is a must visit.

    Awesome history. Driving around it's hard to imagine it as a thriving town. Full of fascinating photos and memorabilia. There's a bowling alley, cafe and more. Definitely worth a visit!!

    Great place to stop for a look. Its good to know that Woomera museums operate 7am-3pm

    It is really worth the visit. Would have loved some rocket souvenirs though but everything about this little stop surprised me. A visit to the Eldo hotel for dinner should also be on the to do list.
